I have a relative who was baptised as a baby in the Church of Ireland and then baptised again in the RC church the morning of her wedding in the RC church. She also had a civil wedding 3 months beforehand, so she was baptised twice and married twice - to be sure to be sure.

Dublin 1860  ;D  Did your relative's wedding dress double as a christening gown?
Now that the Catholic Church recognises baptisms in C. of I./ E. /S. etc. procedure for receiving adults into R.C. Church has changed.

I've found several (!) baptised shortly before marriage (mine must've been a godless lot!). Some were, to be fair, baptists, who go for adult (i.e., when old enough to make a proper decision), a couple were Anglican or non-conformists marrying R.C. partners. It seemed to have happened more often than one might have expected.....
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

Catholic Church changed marriage rules 100 or so years ago and tightened up on "mixed-marriages". After Vatican 2 in 1960s rules were relaxed again. Consequently there may have been an increase in the number of adults received into R.C. Church during 1st 70 years of 20thC.

B.t.w. the earliest adult baptism I came across was 18thC, of "Sarah, a Black, aged about 30". It was in a country parish. I imagine she was an African servant/slave in a household.

Some Yorkshire records have baptisms stating 'converted from Quakerism"

Quakers don't practice baptism, so they would not have been baptised before.
