John Malkinson 1763 marriage lookup

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has access to the Lincolnshire marriage bonds and allegations records.

I am hoping someone could look up a marriage on 12/4/1763 between John Malkinson & Elizabeth Hodgson at Dalby. From what I can see online John is listed as being born 1738 and Elizabeth born 1739. I would love to know if the record lists any other information, particularly where John is from.

I have John Malkinson marrying at Partney in 1781 to Jane Jackson, John is recorded as being a widower, hence my interest in the above marriage, particularly due to the Partney and Dalby being not to far from each other.

If both these marriages are for the same John, then there should be a death for Elizabeth, although I haven't found a record so far.

A transcript of the licence just reveals he was 'from elsewhere' the marriage register was a bit more helpful 

John Malkinson a bachelor from the parish of Donnington in the Wolds and Elizabeth Hodgson of this parish a spinster.

He signed the register , she left her mark.
Witnesses: John Hodgson & Thomas Wright.

I have to add that in the 1781 marriage register this John Malkinson left his mark (X)

Many thanks for that Claire, guessing it's unlikely to be the John Malkinson first marriage I am looking for then, oh well back to searching.

I can see three other marriages between 1755 and 1781  which maybe worth you looking into. Sadly I can't see the registers.

Although they may be on Links to the Past.

Hi Claire, apologies for not replying earlier, had to put my family research onto a backburner for a short time.
