bbc iplayer on Android.
« on: Wednesday 26 July 17 18:14 BST (UK) »
This app is driving me nuts I have registered ages ago and it worked fine on both PC and Tablet.
Now the tablet app keeps asking me to sign in, but it won`t work.
Either I get  a message "too many server redirects" or the sign in page just keeps coming back.
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it .
I have even changed my password  and it works on PC but not on the tablet.
Where am I going wrong ?

Possibly not the same as your problem but I have to enter the password before entering my user name or I just keep getting the sign in page back.  This is on Hudl 1.

I still don't have to sign in when using my laptop, just have the 'do it later option' which vanished from Android.

I registered with the BBC some years ago but that no longer worked and I had to registered anew but as you have had it working at some point on Android it is puzzling what has happened.

Hope you get it sorted.

This is still not right, I set up a new account, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, yesterday it worked fine without even having to sign in. Now I have to sign in but still the same page comes back again and again. sign in - sign in.
Grrr.

Yes,  done that. I have scoured the bbc website for a  helpline but can`t find anywhere I can ask there. I actually managed to get on the" Chat" waited 15 minutes but then got message to say no agents available.
For such a large organisation, their customer service is useless.

I mean, just what is the point of contacting them when they can`t help  ???
