James Boyd 1901 Northumberland
« on: Wednesday 26 July 17 18:54 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I would appreciate if someone would please assist me in locating some
of my Boyd family from Ireland to England. I would greatly appreciate any
help.
I am searching for James Boyd b: 1891, Newry, County Down, Ireland.
In the 1901 census he was living with his father and siblings.
Father Owen Boyd b: 1847/57 in County Down, Ireland. Died in Newcastle
Upon Tyne about 1913/1914. Someone found for me what appears two
entries  for Owen Boyd, one has him listed as born 1847, the other listed
as born 1857. What was his cause of death?
Siblings:
Margaret b: 1877 Co. Down.
John b: 1875 Co. Down.
David John b: 1879 Co. Down.
Mary b: 1881 Co. Down.
Patrick b: 1883 Co. Down.
James b: 1891 Co. Down.
I have had some assistance in locating several of these, but
not for James.  I do not know if he stayed in England or returned
to Ireland.
They were all living in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Another question I have if some one could look up another name.
I can't recall it, off hand. But there appeared an Mr. McEvoy.
I am just wondering if the McEvoy could of been McAvoy?
Which is the maiden name of Owen's wife, Mary McAvoy.
Which would be interesting to find out if he could be
related to Mary in some way.
Thank you very much.
Kind regards,
MWarner

What was his cause of death?

You would need to order his death certificate to find out the cause of death.

Might it be this entry giving a birth of 1857

Dec 1914 Newcastle T
Boyd Owen age 57

Thank you both very much. I appreciate your kindness.
Could James be found in the 1911 UK census?
I am trying to find out if he stayed in UK or returned
to Ireland.
Kind regards,
Martha~
