Hi

I’m looking for a death or military record of a Frank Williams

The only information i have is that he married my grandma in martley in 1945.

Any one know where i should be looking?

If he served in WW2 then his record will be held by the MOD;  you can apply for a copy, cost £30.

What was your grandmothers christian name and maiden name?  If it was Edith Jauncey - it was 1942 not 1945.  If it was Irene Selley then it was 1941 and he was Francis C Williams

How old was he at that time?  Where was he born and what was his fathers name on the marriage cert?

Are any of the children from the marriage still living who could supply more details about him?
