Hi Guys,
I am transcribing a Registration of Birth in Chihuahua, Mexico for a (Maria) Josefa Leon in 1881. (The image is available on Ancestry; BMDs; Births; Chihuahua, Mexico, Civil Registration Births, 1861-1947 (in Spanish)).
Born on the 9 Feb 1881, she was registered 5 March, but on Line 9 … what is the word after ‘proximo …’. I read this line as the birth being ‘9th of the next month’ which does not make sense.
Can anyone explain where I have gone wrong, please.
