Robert Etherington death/burial

Hi Everyone

I am trying to find a death burial of the above. We have him as born Ipswich 1822. We have not been able to confirm this, as Suffolk records are not accessible to us. He is mentioned in a will we have of John Etherington who dies in 1868, where he was given the income from rents on certain properties during his lifetime. We are therefore keen to know when he died. He was living in Nottingham with his wife and children in 1871 but no where to be seen after that. Free BMD has a death recorded in 1886 of a Robert Decimus Etherington but i cannot find a place of burial for this person.

That's interesting that he finished up in the workhouse when his father had been quite a big property owner.

Don't forget that workhouses were also hospitals. I found him in 1881 for you, so it might be worth seeing where his family were in 1891.

Yes, seen family in 1881. Found children in 1891. His wife also died before the census.
