A FARM, late in the occupation of the late Lieutenant Biggam, on the East Coast, known as " Cockle Bay," containing 320 acres; 60 of which are in cultivation and well fenced, and partly sown to barley. There is on the Establishment working bullocks, cows, pigs, and everything required to carry on the same, which the coming-in tenant can take at a valuation. For further particulars apply to the undersigned.

Recommends "the merits of a respectable individual", Holmes Biggam, an Irish officer of Wellington‘s Army during the war against Napoleon in Spain, who was "intending to take out his family to Van Diemens Land", and, to "provide for a numerous family" in that penal colony, was "wholly desirous to obtain the protection and favorable opinion of the Colonial authorities both here and on the spot…"
