Lightley family BC

Hi

James Lightley (born Northumberland, England 1874) married Annie Hedley Watson (born South Shields, Durham, England) in Bedlington, Northumberland in 1895.

They had 1 son, Albert Watson Hedley  (born Northumberland, England 1895).

Annie and her son are in British Columbia by 1912 - the year the widowed Annie married Frederick Schorn in BC.

I'm trying to find the passenger list for Annie and her son, and am trying to find if James Lightley died in England or in BC.

Familysearch has James Lightley, wife Annie and son Albert in BC in 1911, but checking out the original image on ancestry, (under spelling 'Lisaten') I'm not sure it's them.

Some people on ancestry have James Lightley dying in Castle Ward, Northumberland in 1904, but again I'm not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

1921 census for Albert shows his arrival as 1903.  The 1911 census for the BC family shows 1902.
Transcribed as Jas. Lagtsly you have James, wife and Alb W. arriving on the Numidian 14 Apr 1902 with destination of Fernie, B.C.  The family in 1911 appears to be yours.

Can't spot a death record but there is a will.

Recorded in the index, 1861-1919 wills
Lightle(r/y?) James  will volume/folio:  7  / 265  remarks: 4099

The will is dated 1st April 1902; he leaves everything to wife Annie Hedley Lightley and after her death, to son Albert Watson Lightley.  I guess this was possibly written just before emigration?

The will doesn't seem to have been acted on until 1913. This delay I don't think necessary indicates anything other than procedural delays especially as it looks like she had to get confirmation from the original witnesses to the will who were back in England.
