An open invitation of any Gilbert surnamed  male to get their DNA done with FamilytreeDNA.
Why?
Gilbert is/was a common name around the Hereford/Wales border particularly around Walterstone.
The same could be said about Coleford and Newland.
There are a number of Gilberts around Bristol of which my line has no DNA connection.
Migration routes via roads or rivers  have connectivity from Hereford to Bristol via Forest of Dean.
My DNA has connection to Howells and Cecil also historically heavy on the ground in the Hereford/Wales border.

Cheers
