BELGIUM - Looking for Willy Millett

Hi ,

I am trying to find the family of my great uncle William Henry Millett.

He was born in Liverpool about 1888. The son of William Thomas and Hannah. It appears that he settled in Hainault region after WW1 but there the trail dries up. He possibly married a lady called Lucy or Lucia.

i would love to see his marriage details or census records in Belgium but cannot find anything so far.

ADDED - it is a long shot - the surname Jupp ?
there is a marriage in Liverpool 1930 for William Millett to Daisy Jupp
and there seems to be a few Jupp on here - looks like quite a few died during WW1 who were born in Belgium .

I did look into "Jupp" but dont think that's mine. as far as I have been told Willy married a lady in Belgium called Lucia. My Dad said he was told that Willy looked after horses so I'm thinking that he went over in WW1 to fight in Belgium & met his wife there.

I will keep looking though.

He died in Uccle on 4 February 1936. Spouse Lucia Baligniez. More to follow.

The death record says that he was a stable man (garcon d'ecurie). Born Liverpool 5 September 1888. Parents William Thomas Millett and Hannah Shepherd.  Resident at 7 Avenue Francois Peeters, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. The informants were his son Maricq Millett aged 21, and Charles Jooris, employee.   

Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Uccle are Brussels municipalities.

Wife Lucia Baligniez was aged 42 and born at Maisieres.

Oh that's great. Thanks Shaun J . I cant wait to tell my Dad ( as its his Uncle) . I will maybe able to find his children/grandchildren now.
