Lookup request James BOND birth Ashbrittle Somerset

I'm currently trying to locate a birth for James BOND. At the time of marriage he was living in Ashbrittle Somerset so I'm not sure if it's his exact birth location or not. He married Sarah Davy in Ashbrittle  in 1755 and had a son William bond in 1756 there as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Banns were read 7,14,21 December 1755 marriage was on 26 January 1756, witness Edward Lock/Lack. The second witness William Lee was probably the parish clerk as he signed all marriage entries on the page.

The son William baptized 21 November 1756 was buried 14 May 1758

images of the parish register on ancestry.

Went back to 1709 no James Bond.
The Davy family is prominent but the first Bond is the marriage of James to Sarah.

Thank you so much for the help. So I'm guessing that means he was from a different location then Ashbrittle. This shall be quite interesting trying to track him down. Thank you again for the help.

Hi, I am in the process of transcribing some records for Ilminster and there are Bonds living there including a James Bond who's daughter Betty was baptised in Dec 1727 and a William in 1719 who's father shown as James Bond junr. Also in 1717 John who's father is James Bond, gent.
I wonder if there could be any connection to the James you are looking for, might be an area worth looking at as it's not too far away.
The records I have at the moment only go up to 1739.
Masters, Parker, A'Court, Cary(ey), Cannon, Oram, Reynolds, Hennessy, Chislett,
Somerset
Muspratt,Pitman - Wiltshire, Dorset
Treasure - Stoke Lane & Sherborne

That does seem very likely and the names do seem to run in the children further on as well. I'll definitely check into that. Thank you so much for letting me know I really appreciate it, since he has been a bit of a man of mystery to me.
