Do you know if they died in Scotland from 1855 as their DCs should name both parents with mother's maiden name?

Where were the children born?

Are parents still alive on any marriages of children to help with possible yrs of death?

Annie

Edit....Info. may be vague on any marriage for those possible eras i.e. not of any help.

Hi Annie
The children were all born in Abbey Paisley....their daughter Isabella died in 1866....that's where I got their names.
I can't find death certificates for either of them.....someone on Ancestry has her parents as John Baird and Isobel Wilson but the only source they have is a millennium file which I understand is not 100% accurate
Their daughter Isabella married John McSporran( don't laugh )
That's about as much as I know
Thanks
Karen

There are few deaths recorded in Scotland pre 1855 but finding a MI may be possible?

Did daughter Isabella's DC give an occupation for father which can help?

So not the type of job which may have been recorded e.g. Army/Navy etc.

Have you looked for a birth for William on scotlandspeople site?
