Grave of Sarah Drayton
« on: Wednesday 02 August 17 00:03 BST (UK) »
Hi its ages since Ive been on here and when i did ask a question about this person I got a lot of help. I've recently learnt that her son Mervyn Drayton passed away and as I am very keen to find Sarahs  (nee Horrell) grave I wondered if anyone knows of its where abouts. The Family have always been secretive about her grave and I wondered if Mervyn, his father Mervyn and Sarah are in a family grave. Possibly on Pontyprid I have to admit to having a problem with my sight following a stroke which makes life reading things very awkward.

Mervyn Norman Drayton born 1930 died 25.8.2015 Glamorgan and left a will

He married 1962 and had 4 children - have you contacted them for information?.

If you Google his name you will find an obituary notice for him

Mervyn's birth reg shows mmn as Horrell but the only Drayton marriage around that time was Frank Drayton to a Sarah Reeves

Was Sarah previously married as I can't find a Sarah Horrell marriage to a Reeves?

EDIT

Found link to previous post to save duplication of efforts/info

Given that Sarah died in Derbyshire 1933 it is highly unlikely she would be buried in Glamorgan

Final advice on that post 28.12.2009 was to buy a copy of the 1930 marriage cert to Frank Drayton - did you purchase it?

Yes family members went to visit them but had the door shut in their face. They wanted nothing to do with Sarah's previous life. Hence the continual search for her grave. I tried the usual sites but nothing came up. Thank you for finding my old post as I had lost all her details. I'm in touch with some of her descendants who would love to complete her details.

Thank you for all your replies. I'm beginning to think that she was probably cremated. It is all very sad. Any news will be welcome as she is about to become a great great grandmother and we are trying to keep her dignity in the family tree.
