Ann Gearing widow married James Thackerrey widower 24 July 1877 Holy Trinity, Lambeth. Her father, John Witton.

Yes, it looks like them. He is a clerk though in that census.

There is a marriage 1856 John Thomas Gearing and Ann Ashley. The Banns have her as a widow.

An online tree has John as the son of William Whinrey and Frances Clarke; explains his children's names.

Also, says he married Anne in 1856 and that they had 9 children.

He is said to have died aged 39 in 1870.
