Lost in WW2 submarine
« on: Wednesday 02 August 17 16:35 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know if there are records of men lost during WW2 when their submarines went down?

This is a very long shot. I vaguely remember talk of my father's cousin going down with a  submarine at age 21. Unfortunately I only know the surname for sure.

Many thanks.

Probably not?
Service Records, for anyone serving after 1920, are still with the MOD.

Have you tried Commonwealth War Graves Commission? www.cwgc.org
