William Wilson MacKeown when and where!?

Im tracing William Wilson MacKeown in WWI but am really struggling for records. Can any of you help out!?
born: 15/9/86 in Ballymena, Antrim, N.Ireland
LG 6/10/14 promotion to 2nd Lt while in the 4th Btn, Royal Munster Fusiliers.
Jan 1917 he joined the 2nd Btn of the Royal Irish Rifles.
Later attached to  2nd Btn of the Royal Munster Fusiliers.
Seriously injured.

I'm afraid that's all I know!!

FindMyPast lists a medal card for a William W Mackeown R Irish Rifles but I find no detail of it.  As with the others, if commissioned his records are likely still to be with MOD.
