Have photograph with photographer listed as "T. Nicholls  Pontyberem".
Does anyone have any information on photographers of Pontyberem,
The photograph is one of the carde de viste type--heavy card. Late 1800s. Thank you.

Have you checked for him on any of the censuses?

I found a John Nicholls, age 37, at Pontyberem, in the 1911 Census.
He was a photographer. He had a different occupation in 1901.
I looked at my photo again and the T. is probably a J.--so John
was likely the photographer. Not sure when he started--or how long
he was a photographer at Pontyberem.

Stephen,

If you go to this Welsh Newspapers Online link:
http://newspapers.library.wales/view/4198189/4198191/25/
you should see a fine (1908) example of John Nicholls handiwork.

Additionally (and this is very much a very long shot that may or may not be productive) why not try the Pontyberem Camera Club - at http://www.pontyberemcameraclub.co.uk.
