Esther's address was also Wharton Road as was Thomas Such who died on 9th May 1946

Hello,

This is a complete new one to me! So was Thomas Such living with Esther at that address, at the same time? As we have only recently found out that my Uncle Reggie has a wife called Esther and they had a daughter!? So thats all been news to me and now Thomas Such.. who is he!? LOL :O

It's a case of eliminating possible places.

For example they may not be at Sandbach cemetery which is managed by Orbitas, their records are online at Deceased Online

http://www.orbitas.co.uk/cemeteries/sandbach-cemetery/sandbach-cemetery.aspx

There's a list here

http://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/register_office/cemeteries/cemeteries-and-crematoria.aspx

of cemeteries also managed by Orbitas.

It might be worthwhile contacting them directly after the weekend and asking for help with these look-ups but they may require the exact date of death rather than a year and quarter.

Hello,

i have contacted a few people directly, one of them being Orbitas and they could only search the Sandbach Cemetery and said they weren't there! :( is there other places i can contact? As i thought Orbitas covered more area's than just Sandbach and if they did a full search, they could see if they were buried in multiple area's, not just to sandbach area?

i'm abit new to this to be honest so i could be getting this completely wrong!

Not sure where you live, but I found the attached information related to the local Winsford newspapers.  That might be a possibility to finding their final resting places.

hello,

where is it you found that attachment? i've never seen that before! i might research the local papers in a moment and see if i have any luck! thank you!

If your relatives are buried in a Church Graveyard they are not listed in deceasedonline.
Council's record Cremations and Burials but don't say where the ashes were scattered or buried, unless they are in the Crematorium grounds or in a Council grave yard.
So what you have to do is find out when and where they died, check the newspapers for the funeral director and ask them.
My husband's Aunt and Uncle are not listed in deceasedonline they were both buried in Tarvin Church yard.
Maggsie

Oh ok! i had no idea to be honest, this is all very new to me! so if the council don't have there records, i don't necessarily need to lose too much hope then!? i know reginald died in March 1961 at Holmecroft Arclid in Sandbach & Esther died on 9th March 1946 most likely at her home address in Winsford. So i could look online for the local newspapers, hopefully its an easy job but sofar anything i look for isn't coming up! LOL

thank you very much

Hi
Do you have the death certificates?
Where did they die?
You need to check with the local councils.
Not all records are online.

Heather

hello!

yes i have his death certificate, it says nothing about where hes buried but i've just found out he died 18th January 1961 in Holmcroft Arclid. the registration district is Crewe and the death in the sub district is sandbach? x

The probate for Thomas Such was granted to Mary Shilton, wife of William Shilton.
Thomas lived at 66 Wharton Road. He was 83 when he died, born about 1863.
