Baptism record for William Sands

I have inquired about this person.

If any has access to Manchester baptism records (presuming he was C of E; he did marry in a C of E church in London), could they look up one William Sands, born 1816 - 1817, Manchester?

There is this one:

William Sands baptised 6th June 1813 - illegitimate
Father's name William Spencer; Mother's name Mary Sands - a weaver
At St Mary, St Denys and St George

Thank you. I have viewed that record before, but the gap in age between the record and the age given on two census records and his death certificate is troubling.

Was just going to amend it - there is a burial later that year for William Sandys son of Mary.

Ah. That is a shame. There's a chance that my William Sands wasn't baptised.

Is he the one married to Mary with children William and Charlotte?

I'm not sure. He lived in St. Luke's with Mary. He had Henry and Mary Ann.

In 1851, there is a niece Charlotte Sands,  16 yrs,  born London with the family. Have you tried looking for her baptism - might give you another family member to help with your search.

Do you have the children's baptisms? Were they CoE?
