Great find Sinann  :)

I am sure you will now find this lin50 but I think this may be Frances' death - listed as Francis in 1957

Yes, thanks Heywood, I did find that.  Having a problem with finding any children for her and Michael   :(  ...but there is a daughter Bernadette born 1934/35.

We can't post names of living people, so their child deceased?
There is a Mary B in 1933 but mother's maiden name isn't listed.

Pure luck, it was the second marriage I looked at and with only one Michael Kiely born in Kilrush in 1874 cross checking was simple.

Yes Bernadette is dead now.  I have found quite a few alternatives but as you said no mother's maiden name.  I was also hoping to find a son named Jeremiah, as Michael's father...not such a common name, but if Michael had been married before he could already have a son named that.

Maybe there are children with Frances's family names...will keep checking.

Thanks again

We have the birth record for Michael with his father Jeremiah.

I also found that Bernadette, and the marriage quite a while ago, but the father's name is incorrect.

Thanks for your reply though

I think what dathai means is how do you know the Kilrush Michael is the correct one?
The usual progression is to find the child's marriage to get father's name, than birth to get mother's name.
It's a bit odd to start with the father's birth and work forwards, unless of course you have worked back to him via a child of his first marriage.
