Looking for information on Elspet R Buchan b 7 Jul 1906 Peterhead, Aberdeenshire she married John McDowall no dates had a look on SP see on Ancestry went to Halifax, Canada in 1948 aboard Aquitania address in Scotland Barrassie Street, Troon, Ayrshire  also on ship is daughter Elspeth age 15.
Elspet's 1906 parents John Buchan 1860 - 1935 & Elspet Reid 1868 - 1939 married 14 Mar 1889, Peterhead

Elspet Reid McDowall born 1906 passed away 29-7-1987 Vancouver British Columbia - informant was her daughter 2191 Hillside Avenue Coquitlam BC - Elspet widow of John McDowall.

Husband John McDowall born 1904 passed away 17 September 1959 - informant Elspet Drew (daughter) 3865 Keswick Avenue New Westminster BC - Johns occupation maintenance man for Hudson Bay Co.

Daughter Elspet M Drew and Alvin R Drew (telephone technician) appear on Canada Voters List 1957 at 1027 Keswick Avenue New Westminster BC.

Canada Voters List 1974 shows the couple living 2191 Hillside Fraser Valley West - also living at the same address is a student son.

It looks as though she married John McDowall in BC as well. 1929

He was a professional golfer!

William Buchan born 19 November 1903 - Parents John Buchan and Elizabeth Reid - passed away 11 September 1984 - Vancouver BC -  informant was Elspet McDowall - sister.
William was single.
