Fields family in Brighton area?
« on: Monday 07 August 17 16:15 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I'm researching my family tree and I have found that a great aunt Violet Fields and a great uncle Percy Fields lived and died in Brighton. They would have died in the 1980's. A bit of a long shot but does anyone know any Fields in Brighton that may be related?

Thanks!

Are you saying they are husband and wife or brother and sister?

Hello,

Yes thats them! They were brother and sister but both moved there at different times.

I just wondered on the off chance whether any other Fields might be on this board...

Thanks!

Apply for Florence W Fields's will for further information?

Violet Irene Field was born 23rd August 1903 according to her death, there is no birth for one of Percy's sisters with that name.
There is a Violet Louisa Fields mmn Kilby, born 1901 Biggleswade.

Added:
There is a marriage for Violet L Fields to Albert J Fermor in 1923, and then this death:
Violet Louisa Fermor born 9th June 1901 died August 1989 in Brighton   (apply for will also?)

Looks like one Fermor/Fields birth, and appears to be showing on Brighton ER to 2017.
