The can see Berkely Street mentioned  in the Portsmouth Evening News, 4 April 1955 (the archive only goes up to 1955)

My Great Uncle was in the Royal Engineers in WWII and was trying to difuse a bomb in Berkley Street in 1941 when it went off, killing them all. I wonder if the street was therefore badly damaged in the Portsmouth Blitz and then therefore later demolished?
