I am looking for the parents of John Ware of Litchfield, Kennebec County, Maine, previously of Topsham, Maine. He was born in about 1757/58 in an unknown location, probably somewhere in New England.
"John Ware came to Litchfield from Topsham before 1800. He married Mary Mallett May 24 1780, and lived on Oak Hill. Aside from farming he ran a tannery. Mary, his wife, died June 3, 1841."
