Trying to find any information on John CARLYLE who was married to Mary BARTON. (their parents if possible)

I know John died at Henshaw, November  1833 aged 64 and Mary died June 1847 aged 86 yrs. They are buried in Dalton Cemetery.

That could be John's baptism 21 July 1768 from his death date on the headstone, 1833 would make his birth 1769 - just a year out.

John Irving married Isabella CARLYLE the daughter of the above John CARLYLE and they had a son Francis.

Where did you see the copy of baptism for some of the Children of Francis Carlyle?

I looked on Family Search and found two baptisms for 21 July 1768 - one in Middlebie - no mother mentioned - the other was in Edinburgh with mother Mary Irving. The one in Middlebie could be.
