What is a Boiler Smith - Boiler Builder?
« on: Tuesday 08 August 17 12:13 BST (UK) »
Could someone please explain to me what a Boilersmith would do as an occupation in the mid to late 1800s? Also I have come across an occupation as Boilder Builder - would this be similar?

Thank you in advance :)

According to Wiki, it's the same thing

Quote
boilersmith (plural boilersmiths)

One who builds or repairs boilers; a boilerman.

This is a good site for information about Victorian jobs
