Mathew Parle, born 1880, Wexford, sought
« on: Wednesday 09 August 17 14:25 BST (UK) »
The couple William Duffin and Margaret Parle, married RC in Duncannon, New Ross, Co. Wexford on 16 Aug 1882, have eight children together, born between 1883 and 1900. Prior to this marriage, Margaret gives birth to a son, who is registered in the District of Fethard No.2, SRD New Ross, Co. Wexford, on 13 Aug 1880, as Mathew Parel.
He is baptized RC 14 Aug 1880 in St James and Templetown, as Mathew Duffin, with father William Duffin, according to the transcript of the baptism on FindMyPast. (I am unable to find this baptism record myself in the baptism book; it is very hard to decipher.)

I am unable to find a trace of this son later. In the 1901 census he is not with the family. Family lore has it that he emigrated to the USA, but no documents are available to prove that. What can I do to find out what happened with Mathew Parer/Parle/Duffin?
