disapearing shared dna matches

Hi all when i got my dna results on 2nd july I had 8 shared ancestor matches now I only have 4? some of them was 2nd and third cousins, my dad has lost 1 shared ancestor match too in only 1 week of getting his results. is this happening to anyone else?

Yep, they come and go, for more than one reason:
1) it is a "beta" feature from Ancestry, so they change it from time to time etc
2) if people move their DNA to a different tree then the relationship will not be there anymore

What I do is use the notes feature to document the relationship and I put the word LEAF as well, then I use the AncestryDNAHelper extension for Chrome browser by Jeff Snavely to search the notes for "LEAF" and it finds them for me.
No problem at all.
