In August 1806 the banns for a marriage were read in St Modwen's church Burton upon Trent for Joseph Webster and Mary Ingram But only once  Can someone check the record for me please to see if it gives the place of residence of bride and groom and id any ages were given This information would be useful in sorting out many Joseph Websters

A Joseph married Mary Ingram the following year in Repton but both bride and groom were of Bradby I am trying to distinguish between two Josephs one baptised in Bradby the other in Repton Surely she didn't stop the banns of one and marry the other !by any chance did it give any ages or marital state?

Bradby (or Bretby) is a small village in the parish of Repton so a marriage in Repton is possible.

There is a baptism for a Joseph Webster in 1779 in Repton, father Joseph, mother Sarah Possibly MN Heartly). Possible parents for Joseph, Joseph and Elis.

Joseph and Mary Brown  had children baptised 1816-1839 in repton Joseph died in 1840 aged 61 (from hos burial FindMyPast) or 63( from his death registration (GRO) he fits the baptism in Repton in 1779 to Joseph and Sarah well.
No marriage to Mary Brown has been found but she is with five of the children baptised to Mary and Joseph in 1841 and married in 1849 giving her father as John Brown a labourer
She has the youngest two Webster children with he and her new husband in 1851. Mary is on 4 censuses always born 1796  at sea. So Joseph was 17 years older than Mary Brown
In 1811 a John son of Joseph Webster was made a parish apprentice was this a son of Joseph 1779 taken into parish care ie apprenticeship? who was his mother? were there any siblings?
Meanwhile a Joseph Webster  Mary Ingram married in 1808 in Repton both were of Bradby they had four children in Bradby 1809-1813 then the whole family appear to disappear was this Joseph bapt in Bradby to Richard and Ann Webster in 1789? A Joseph Webster of Bradby fathered an illegitimate son in repton in 1805 is this Mary Ingram's Joseph? Then there is the odd banns record in Burton upon Trent that Joseph was of Repton. Surely Mary Ingram was only associated with one Joseph Webster not two?
Many trees on Ancestry have married Joseph 1779 to Mary Ingram and attributed the Repton baptisms to Mary Ingram and completely ignore the Bradby four!
I am trying to prove there are two quiet separate Joseph and Mary families mine being Joseph and Mary Brown
But with out a second death for either a Mary or Joseph or a marriage for Mary Brown it's proving difficult HELP I need as many ideas as possible with this one
