Hello ,
Looking for the death of Andrew Thomson (General labourer) ..would be before 1881,perhaps in Laurencekirk  , widow was Ann Taylor/ or Durward/Dorward.
His widow Ann died in 1882,logie pert (i have certificate of that).
In 1851 Ann taylor (her name at that time) was living with her mother (same name) and her 7 yr old son at Dun , she was aged 42.....so she couldnt have been married at that time,
Then again maybe they werent married ,just lived together,
thanks

Did Ann die as Thomson or Taylor?  Does death cert show her husband as Andrew Thomson?

7 yr old "son" is 6yr old John Robertson in 1851 shown as grandson to Ann's mother- so where did you get info that he was Ann's son?

Have you checked the original 1851 image to determine Ann's marital status?

Have you checked for a marriage on SP?

What about the 1861/71/81 censuses - is Ann shown as Taylor or Thomson?

Where does surname Durward/Dorward come from?
