Regimental No 9764
Rank C/Sgt (Company Quarter Master Sergeant Regiment)
Died 18 Nov 1918 Age 29  Banbridge Area
Looking help in trying to find the grave of Ernest Bunting wife of Mary (nee Stevenson) married Apr-June 1915 Banbridge.Medical Discharge July 1917 Widow Mary awarded war gratuity
Can any one help

Thanks Rathmore but got no where with your links.
I should be in the Armagh site as family lived and Ernest died at Tamnavelton  Laurlevale Co Armagh  not Co Down as I have found out.
Nothing in Armagh local papers will try Portadown local papers.

national archives hold his medical card ref: WO372/3/171356

Have you been in touch with the Royal Irish Fusiliers?

on the find my past you have to pay for extra information.

I have all the details that Royal Irish Fusiliers museum had for C/Sgt Bunting.
No details in Portadown newspapers, local knowledge seems to think that he is in family burial plot in local church.

Portadown news 12.5.1917

Ernest Bunting who had been discharged from further services owing to his wounds has been awarded a parchment certificate for life saving in France.

Laurelvale died 18.11.1918 Quarter Master Sergeant Royal irish Fusiliers died of wounds 18.11.1918 age 29

Thanks Rathmore I am nearly sure that he is buried in the family grave but no grave marker, the local church has burial records unfortunately the person who looked after the church records died recently. There is no mention of a funeral in local newspapers.
