Just a wee bit more detail.  He is on a list compiled on 12 Jan 1918 of English POWs at that time in Dulmen POW camp, the reference to Le Quesnoy is the place he was held temporarily before being sent to Dulmen.  The POWs all seem to have been captured end November/beginning December at Cambrai. Worth a look http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/battles/battles-of-the-western-front-in-france-and-flanders/the-cambrai-operations-1917-battle-of-cambrai/ particularly the second part.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
