Isn't the second witness to the 1863 marriage M H Zoller (rather than Fuller)?  The same name appears as a witness to a 27 Sep 1863 marriage in the same register.

Yes I think this is the one:

1 December 1864, St Martin in the Fields

John Ponton, full age, widower, printer of St Martin's Lane, father Thomas Ponton, farm bailiff

Mary Hannah Zoller, full age, widow, of Chandos St, father William Collyer, mariner.

Witnesses:

Chas Perks, John Collyer, J Darcy.

Jill, do you want to go down the M H Zoller route
Mary Hannah Collyer
married
George Zoller
1854
George died in 1860 and Mary Hannah Zoller went on to marry John Ponton  1864

Doesn't seem to be any connection to Perks families

Incidentally 1861showing Charles and Emily perks is showing sons who have professional jobs

Louisa Maud

of course M H Zoller might not be anything to do with your Perks family

oops, crossed in post, if Mr Ponton was a printer he most likely worked for the Perks

Have you considered the John Williams who died in Strand reg district in 1865. According to GRO he was age 31. St Martin in the fields seems to have been incorporated into Strand around that period.

One of the twins was actually registered as Hanora Mary according to the GRO online index (Honora Maria in the baptism register).  It's a name which certainly suggests an Irish connection.

Who was the informant of the twins' births? Is there any indication on the birth certificates that John was already deceased (as he would have been by the time of their 2 Nov 1865 births if Isobel's Sep qtr 1865 find is the one)?
