Thurles Sugar factory
« on: Monday 14 August 17 16:20 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am researching my family history, and have a great Uncle Patrick Perkins (b1917 d1989) who worked in the Sugar Factory in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Ireland in the 1930s/1940s.  Does anyone on the forum know if there is a heritage office or historian who could help me find any records, stories etc relating to Patrick Perkins from his time working there?

Any assistance greatly appreciated!

A little bit of information about when it originally opened in 1933

Just seeing if I can find anything about employee records.

Perhaps you can find something suitable from this website re contacting someone.
