On Facebook a shop is trying to find the descendent of a
Can Pilcher
Who married in 2894

As the shop at Wootton wawen has a black bound book that was given to the groom.

The book is pictured on Facebook under Sims antique center at Wootton

The marriage would appear to have taken place in the Dover Registration District - March quarter:

Charles Ernest Pilcher - Caroline Louisa Bailey or Jessie Pepper

And there is a daughter - Vera Ellen.  Somewhere there is another child who doesn't appear on the 1911 census.   :)  Charles was a Newsagent and Stationer in Dover, and says he was born in Margate.

There is also a tree on Ancestry with a photograph of Charles attached, but the owner hasn't been on-site for over a year.

The other child born to Charles and Jessie was Charles Rayner Pilcher - 1894 - died 1970.
