Hi

Suggest you look at Scotland's People. Using the free search they may  be in Airdrie.

William

Yes Scotland's People is a credits only site - £7.50 for 30 credits (  a census costs 6 credits ,the equivalent of £1.50.). You can register for free and use the free index to locate records of interest. You would also, for example, be able to download Thomas Meechan's birth cert for 6 credits which would give the names of his parents.

Scotlands People is the only place where you can obtain original images of any census.
Transcribed images 1841-1901 are available through other sites but does not cover 1911.

SP works on a credit system.
£7.50 for 30 credits
6 credits to view and download any document.
( £7.50 will cover 5 records)

However, you are in luck.
I have a seat booked at the SP centre tomorrow and can get it for you.

Edit
Apologies Millmoor, we were both posting at the same time
