« on: Tuesday 15 August 17 14:05 BST (UK) »
Looking for help finding of my great grandfather served in ww1 he was born 1883 in Ealing to John Edward my Eliza bishop and he married in 1905 Ellen frost and had about 12 children all
In the Ealing/Brentford/Hillingdon area. I am just wondering if he served in the war as he would have been the right age but nothing has ever been mentioned in the family about him being in ww1

Any help greatly appreciated

Do you think it was likely he served, I can't see anything at the moment.  :-\  As you know from other posts a lot of WW1 records were destroyed.

He doesn't appear to have been far from home around this time  ;D
