James Cunningham b. c 1872  son of Roger Cunningham & Mary (O Neill) Cunningham in Knockanore Co Waterford Ireland.  Emigrated to Australia.  Any information appreciated.

I have modified the Birth Date for James from 1893 to 1872 as discovered from his Baptism record.

Hi there,

Do you have any thoughts as to approximate emigration year/decade ... and any thoughts as to which colony/state in Australia?

TROVE mentions the death of a James CUNNINGHAM, age 82 at Lithgow, June 1940.  If the age is correct this would rule him out.    :(

A grandson of James CUNNINGHAM I think.

James married and had a son Roger who was a police constable as the death notice for James mentions.

Thank you to everyone for your contributions.  On checking with my source I believe James Cunningham birth year to be 1872 in knockanore Co Waterford not 1893/4 so I believe he would have emigrated possibly in the 1890's
