Henry Abergevenny Wootten

Am doing some research into the above who died in Dumfries on the 26th July 1871. It appears that he lived at Bridgewater House in Tunbridge Wells prior to going to Dumfries and I wondered if there were any records of his career in the local papers . if there is any information it would be greatly appreciated

I presume that you've seen his headstone which appears to contain his life story?  He was a doctor, son of Sir William Wooten. He served in the navy and army.

That link doesn't seem to work, Barry, it just takes you to the Google search age.
