i wonder if someone can help me please.
i have a thomas adams b 1813 son of thomas adams and susanna bumstead. hastings east sussex
i am unable to find a marraige and children and death..
been searching and cant find anything..

Where did you get the info from re: birthyear/birthplace/parentage? 

If it's from a baptismal record - what evidence do you have that he survived infancy?

The 1851 has 3 entries - all b 1813 but not in Hastings.  Are you sure he was born in Hastings?

A widowed Thomas Adams married at All Saints Hastings, 2 Dec 1866
Thomas Adams, 53, Widower, Fisherman, father Thomas Adams, Fisherman

Mary Osmer, 39, Spinster, father Thomas Osmer, Sawyer
residence for both All Saints

They appear to be in Hastings in 1871.
He might be a possibility.

also found mary osmar too... and he was widowed..
but also found he married a sarah page in 1840
i found the baptism on family search, unable to find a death for him..

There is an 1861 entry for a Thomas Adams b 1813 Hastings widower with a daughter Caroline b 1847 Hastings but his occ is beer house keeper whereas in 1871 and on 1866 marriage cert he is a fisherman

i found a sarah page hes connected with and found a marraige in 1840, searching for her death and if there is children.

1851 census - did Sarah die and he re-married?  All children b Hastings

thats great.. i thought he married mary, but saw he married sarah too..she must have died and he remarried...
thank you for confirming he married mary...need to find more info on sarah now
