Henry Thomson married Mary Norman
« on: Thursday 17 August 17 01:22 BST (UK) »
Freereg has Henry Thomson marrying Mary Norman by license 22 December 1745 at St Mary the Great Cambridgeshire.

Where would I find the license?

I'm trying to find the parents and hoping a bondsman will provide a clue or maybe Mary was a minor
and her father will be listed.

Cambridge University Library probably - if the licence survives.

See: https://www5.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/directory_record/4160/marriage_licences
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Very few licences survived, but the allegation and bond probably have.
