Hi Jolee,
Where did you get the marriage suggestion from, please?

I've looked on FreeReg, FamilySearch & Ancestry and cannot see any reference to this couple.
I don't think the BerksFHS Marriage CD has it listed either.

This is strange - Sonning PRs have this marriage:

29 June 1803 Henry King x otp & Mary Perry x otp
Banns.witnesses: Richard Clark & Francis Beach (the latter looks to be a regular witness).
HELP!!!

 BATHSHEBA BOOTHROYD bn c. 1802 W. Yorks.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.

Hi Jill,

Actually I  did see that marriage but "Jolee"  referred to a  William King to Mary Perryn.

Thats what has thrown me.

Understandable, Alan.

Perhaps it also threw whoever it was who suggested this was the right marriage. I suppose its possible the parish clerk had cloth ears!!!  ;D

First of all I would like to say sorry for leaving my post, had another great granddad arrive

I had the marriage from an email sent to me by a cousin I have never been able to trace it, second apology, it is is Henry and not William, William is their son, my ancestor, it looks like the marriage found is the right one as it's very similar

Thanks ladies and once again sorry, best go to specsavers
