Hi,

Albert's parents' marriage record: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M72Y-TMJ

The above appears to be Albert on the 1861 census rather than parents marriage?

Rest of Albert's family in 1861: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M72Y-TMD

Clearly most of the family are entered on one page & Albert on his own on the very next page.

Albert's parents Charles & Sarah's marriage on FreeBMD:

Woodhouse, Charles to Trye, Emma; June Qtr 1858; Sheffield Reg Dist; Volume 9c Page 313

Albert's father Charles with his parents John & Sarah in 1841: http://www.sheffieldindexers.com/1841Census_Index.html

Bailey Lane, Sheffield West (HO107/1338/4/31a/? (Sheffield Indexers site does not show the page number.) It doesn't show occupations either.

John Woodhouse, 25 years
Sarah Woodhouse, 28 years
Charles Woodhouse, 5 years
Sarah Woodhouse, 3 years
Mary Woodhouse, 9 mths

Did Charles Woodhouse (Albert's father) remarry as a widower in 1878?

If so there is this marriage on the Sheffield Indexers website here: http://sheffieldindexers.com/ParishMarriageIndex.html

Charles Woodhouse, 42 years, Table Knife Maker, a widower of 348 Langsett Road married Harriet Phenix by banns on 18th February 1878. The marriage took place at St Phillips Church at Shalesmoor. Charles father given as John Woodhouse who was a Shoemaker by trade. the witnesses were John Woodhouse & Sarah Ann Reynolds who made her mark. No fathers name for the bride shown.

Hope this all helps.

Kind regards

David

The marriage certificate of Albert and Emma states his father Charles had same occupation as himself i.e. Table Knife Cutler and that her father John was deceased, occupation was what looks like Grinder.

Witnesses were William Grice and Mary Butler.
