Greetings from the Central Coast NSW

Thank you Rosie

Rebecca Groves christened 7.10.1838 Farnham Dorset

Jane Groves christened Farnham Dorset 7.2.1836

Daughters of George and Mary Groves

So thank you for adding this information - very helpful in answering questions I had about son Richard

Could Mary be buried at Tollard Farnham?

I'm not familiar with local names and districts but I'm guessing Mary would have been buried at or near Tollard Farnham

Kind regards

Terry

FindMyPast comes up with a likely burial for a Mary Grove in 1840 in Tollard Royal just over the border in Wiltshire county. Again just from a free search

Thank you Rosie

That's great!

Did the record mention what Cemetery or Church yard Mary was buried at?  I'm not with Ancestry, sorry.

Kind regards

Greetings from the Central Coast NSW

Thank you Lizzie

I've seen some entries with Mary Ann and Mary Jane and wondered about that.

I'll go with Mary Ann in future since Mary chose it at her marriage.

Kind regards

Terry

It was LizzieL  ;)  Her post mentions that FindMyPast has the burial at Tollard Royal  :)
For queries on UK parishes you can often get information by searching Genuki with the parish name. That is what I do
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/WIL/TollardRoyal

I gather Ancestry has a free weekend this weekend
