Looking for a marriage of Samuel Pudney born 1801 halstead essex to a susannah [possibly] around that area. Doea anyone have ERO access?

The thing that put me off this one was that his abode was Burnham essex but he was from Halstead. I suppose he could have been working there.

The vicar at Halstead had a habit of doing mass baptisms, usually at Easter, I think I once saw close to 200 on 1 day!

Pudney is a common name around that part of Essex, I believe there were Pudneys in the neighbouring villages Greenstead Green and Gosfield.

yes he was son of john and mary. I think the burnham pudneys are a different strain but a coincidence the marriage was in halstead?

Well your man would be quite young for that marriage, but not impossibly.
Really you need to tell us a little more about Samuel and Susannah, and if they had any children.
