Ley street camp Ilford Essex
« on: Wednesday 23 August 17 13:19 BST (UK) »
Oh the marriage certificate 17/6/1918 of Harry Palfrey private in the R A F number 407395 to Ada Williams at West Ham Register office it states that Harry was at the Ley street camp Ilford Essex.

Would anyone know how long the camp was in operation how many personnel would have served there and any other information.

I have drawn a blank trying to find it online.

This is Ley St. 1914 marked yellow. Everything below the electrical works is heavily built up so the green areas are the only place it could have been.
