Charles H, T, or S Warner b1857 Gislingham

Hope someone out there can help as I am getting nowhere very fast. I am helping my partner's Auntie Margaret with her family tree and I am now stuck! 

Charles H,T, or S Warner, depending on which census you look at, is listed as the grandson of Elijah Warner (1808-1891) and Susannah Warner nee Knott (1804-1879). On the 1861,1871 and 1881 census he is listed as being born in 1857 in Gislingham. The 1891 census he is just down as being born in Suffolk. I am trying to find out who his parents were. It is all a bit of a mystery.

Elijah Warner and Susannah Warner also had another grandchild who I am struggling to find the parents for. Alice M Warner born 1868 in Ipswich. She appears on the 1871 and 1881 census living with Elijah and Susannah.

Any help finding out who their parents were would be greatly appreciated, thank you, Carrie

Looks as though Alice is a child of one of the daughters

also no mmn on index
Possibly daughter Elizabeth who is still living at home though the birth certificate is the only way to confirm it in the absence of a baptism  Later post (reply 4) has mother as Susanna as per baptism

Thank you for that, I was beginning to think that myself but can't decide which of the daughters they belong to. think I'll have to get hold of the birth certificates to solve this little mystery

Most likely he is Cousin/Cousins - there is plenty of choice

Thank you for that, I was wondering where she was on the 1851 census. I can't find her on the 1861 or 1871 census yet, but by 1881 she was back home with her father.
