I don't use OneNote but I understand that it backs up files automatically. It may be worth identifying the backup location on your machine in the hope that a previous (uncorrupted) version has not been overwritten.
Failing that, try opening the file in Notepad. Over the years I've found Notepad and its predecessors very forgiving when it comes to corrupt files. Whilst formatting is lost, content often isn't.
