Help with date please Thomas Edward Heath of Cardiff
« on: Thursday 24 August 17 16:15 BST (UK) »
Advice on precise date of this lovely family photo would help confirm identify the subjects. Believe the gent with the dog on his knee is Thomas Edward Heath of Cardiff (b 1848) and the other, possibly his brother Ivor Moxham Heath (b 1855) - proprietors of the Star Patent Fuel Company in Cardiff.

My guess would be the war years up to 1920.

I would say about the same but the chaps don't really look old enough to fit with those birth dates.
Flattering photo maybe!

I was just perusing old newspapers, and Thomas Edward Heath of Star Patent Fuel died in 1918 at age 70, so if he is in the photo, it is before Jan 1918.
In case she might be in the photo,  the wife of Ivor Moxham Heath died 1939 in her 80th year.
